cordelia arrived in this world screaming bloody murder on a cold winter day. the first few years of her life were rather normal, with two parents trying to scrape together enough money to take care of their child but happy enough to just be together. it was after her eighth birthday that things started to change. beatriz started to disappear for hours on end, leaving cordelia to her own devices with no idea where her mother had gone. this resulted in a house with growing tension. after two years of her mother's mysterious trips started there was a day she just didn't come back. cordelia would look back on the morning of that fateful day and try to pinpoint the moment her mother decided to leave for the most of her life.
a few months after her mother left, cordelia and her father moved back into the muzio family home where she would be raised in a less family friendly version of full house by her various uncles and grandfather. the situation was less than ideal for a young girl who soon grew into a teenager. cordelia could probably be best described as a nightmare, skipping school regularly, chain smoking, mouthing off to anyone who tried to set her straight. her family situation didn't help matters. her father gradually checked out altogether out of raising his daughter, and her uncles who weren't well equipped to deal with a moody angry teenager, didn't provide much help. only cordelia's grandfather could talk any sense into her. he managed to convince her to not drop out of high school, and after she barely graduated he employed her in the family autoshop to answer the phones and schedule appointments. although it was a thrilling job, cordelia found that it was just another place she felt trapped. eventually she quit and moved in with some friends, working odd jobs to support herself.
throughout her life, cordelia could be found doodling in the margins of her notebook or taking requests from her friends for drawing.
